Who we are
Vaux Solar is based in Exeter. For anything to do with your personal information, email hello@vauxsolar.co.uk.
What we collect
If you fill in our assessment form, we collect the details you give us: your name, business, email address, phone number if you provide it, site postcode, electricity spend band and any notes.
This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. The savings calculator runs in your browser, and what you type into it isn't sent to us unless you choose to carry it over to the form.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to assess your site and prepare a savings model. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and taking steps you've asked for before entering an agreement.
If you agree to us introducing you to a funding partner, we'll share the relevant details with that partner, and only with your agreement.
Who processes it for us
Form submissions are handled by Formspree, which may store data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. The website is hosted by Cloudflare.
How long we keep it
If we don't go on to work together, we delete enquiry details within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
